In today’s Friday box office report -

  • Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is legging out like an It movie.

  • Why Hollywood is so quick to remake even recent (and/or primarily English-language) foreign films like Speak No Evil, Another Round or The Intouchables.

  • Kudos to the very stable geneniuses who released Am I Racist? and God’s Not Dead 5 A) on the same damn day and B) right after the far more mainstream Reagan.

  • The Killer’s Game is a must-see for anyone who has said, “Those VOD action folks should be given a shot at the big time.” It’s bombing theatrically but see it anyway.

  • Quick holdover news, plus a promising platform launch for My Old Ass.
