Finally saw Dune 2…. Yeah it was alright I guess. Traded a lot of the substance for style. Lynch captured the feel of Dune better. This version was pretty literal and the psychedelia was too muted. Maybe it’s because I saw the 80s and 2000 version and read the book that I wasn’t particularly wowed. I don’t see how they match up Chani fro…

But divorcing it from the book and seeing it as its own thing…. Yeah it was okay.
